- Geographically, where will Lake Erie Electric Work?
- Our work is primarily in Ohio and Michigan but will, based on customer needs, perform work throughout the Continental United States. We have performed work in various states bordering Ohio and Michigan and states as far as Wyoming, Alabama, Texas and Virginia.
- Where do Lake Erie Electric's electricians come from?
- Our electricians and field supervision are IBEW employees that come from the jurisdictions where we work.
Is Lake Erie Electric a NECA member?
- Yes — We are a member of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA)
- Does Lake Erie Electric perform line work?
- We perform line and high voltage construction and maintenance services for private customers — we do not perform line work for Public Utility Companies.
- Do you have a program to utilize minorities including minority and female business enterprises (MBE / FBE Companies)?
- Yes we do — we have developed an Affirmative Action / Equal Employment Program designed to encourage minorities/females to enter the electrical profession. In addition, we utilize a network of MBE / FBE vendors for both electrical services and material purchases.
- Do you work on "National Maintenance" (NMA) projects?
- Yes we do — we have a history of working on NMA projects and will continue to bid / work on NMA projects.
- Do you have a network of suppliers to cover the geographic areas you are in?
- Yes, we have suppliers who can cover any area where we have a project.
- Do you have an "after hours" emergency plan to get materials?
- Yes — a network of suppliers and contacts in each of our offices are in place to get materials 24/7!
- Does Lake Erie Electric accept credit cards?
- Yes, we accept VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS and DINERS CLUB.
