BSI RegisteredOne of our proudest accomplishments has been the success that our own well-established performance standards have generated. No other electrical contractor can compare to the project delivery, field controls and customer satisfaction standards we maintain.

Lake Erie Electric's Quality Program is the foundation for improving our operation processes. It incorporates all tasks from marketing to project closeout and has significantly enhanced our credibility, benefited our customers and earned the respect of the industry. In addition, our process is independently audited by a third party auditing firm twice a year and includes our field job sites. Other Lake Erie Electric quality conscious efforts include:

  • A specific customer quality plan is completed for the individual requirements of each project.
  • Employees are trained as internal auditors and perform independent audits of each department annually.
  • Lake Erie Electric's ISO 9001:2000 registration provides an open environment to encourage the personal growth of our employees by providing them with appropriate training.
  • Lake Erie Electric became the first electrical contractor in the world to receive Ford Motor Company's Q1 Award in October of 1996.
  • Lake Erie Electric Suggestion Program encourages employees to share their ideas on improving the organization.
  • Working toward achieving NQA-1 (Nuclear Quality Assurance) Approval to facilitate obtaining projects in the nuclear industry.
