Akron Children’s Hospital is in the process of renovating their distribution system.  This project includes the removal of an 800 KW generator and the installation of a new 1750 KW generator on the other side of the facility.  A 2,000 Amp feeder was run approximately 700 feet through the basement and tunnels from the new generator paralleling gear to a new distribution room that refeeds existing switchgear and a new addition.
